Editorial Policy

How HumanFuelGuide stays independent and accountable: sourcing standards, reviewer sign-off, conflict-of-interest rules, use of AI, and how we correct mistakes.

Independence

We do not accept paid placements, sponsored rankings, or supplement-industry partnerships that influence editorial. Where affiliate links are used they are disclosed and never determine which products earn a recommendation. Our full commercial stance is on the affiliate disclosure.

Sourcing and review

Articles are grounded in primary research where it exists, written by a specialty-matched member of the editorial board and medically reviewed by Greta Lindqvist, MS, RD, before publication. Scientific claims are cited to indexed, peer-reviewed literature with a DOI. Our evaluation process is documented in the methodology.

Conflicts of interest

Board members disclose any relationship that could affect their coverage and recuse themselves from writing or reviewing a product where a conflict exists. No board member holds a financial position in a supplement brand they cover.

Use of AI

We use automated tools to assist with drafting, translation, and formatting at scale. Every published article is attributed to a named author, is subject to editorial review for accuracy and safety, and remains the responsibility of the editorial board rather than of any tool used to produce it.

Corrections

We correct factual errors promptly and log substantive changes publicly on the corrections page. Report an issue through our contact form.
